Dr Laurie Greco - Biography
Laurie A. Greco, Ph.D., has over ten years of training and experience in acceptance and commitment therapy. She has published more than twenty articles and book chapters and has given more than eighty conference presentations. In the past five years, she has conducted some forty workshops and professional trainings at the national and international level on topics relevant to ACT, health psychology, and behavioral parent training. In recent years Dr. Greco’s research has focused on the application of ACT processes and clinical methods to children, adolescents, and families. In collaboration with Dr. Steven Hayes, Dr. Greco co-edited the book, “Acceptance and Mindfulness Interventions for Children& Adolescents: A Practitioner’s Guide.” Currently, Dr. Greco is working as a clinical pain psychologist and is directing the chronic pain rehabilitation programs at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, OH.
